Carroll County Health Department: Tobacco, Vaping, and Nicotine Cessation Program

The Carroll County Health Department’s Tobacco, Vaping, and Nicotine Prevention and Cessation Program offers education and resources on all types of tobacco and nicotine products (including electronic cigarettes), second-hand smoke, and preventing and quitting tobacco use.

Individual and group cessation counseling is available in-person, virtually, or by phone. Participants may be eligible to receive vouchers to cover the cost of nicotine replacement patches, gum or lozenges.

MDQUIT

Maryland Tobacco Quitline

FREE phone, web, and text messaging service available to all Maryland residents over the age of 13 to help with quitting any form of tobacco. The Quitline provides services by highly trained coaches to Marylanders 13 years and older, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
