The Carroll County Health Department’s Cigarette Restitution Fund Program provides education and resources on all types of tobacco and nicotine products (including electronic cigarettes), second-hand smoke, and preventing and quitting tobacco use.
They also offer free programs and counseling to help you quit using tobacco. Participants may be eligible to receive vouchers to cover the cost of nicotine replacement patches, gum or lozenges; or vouchers to cover part of the cost of Chantix® (with a prescription from your doctor).
The Cigarette Restitution Fund can also help businesses and other facilities to go smoke or tobacco-free. For more information, call 410-876-4443 or 410-876-4429.
