Generation Free Poster Contest Winners

4th and 5th graders from across Carroll County entered the Cigarette Restitution Fund’s 2019 Generation Free Poster Contest. Winners were selected by the Carroll County Tobacco Coalition, which consists of representatives from public agencies and the community.  

Congratulations to the winner, Brynn Ryan, 5th grade, Spring Garden Elementary School, Hampstead. Her winning poster was featured on a billboard on Maryland Route 30 (South Main Street) near the intersection with Trenton Mill Road in Hampstead.  Spring Garden health teacher Lindsey Chiodi received $500 worth of health and wellness materials.

The first, second, and third place winners received a certificate from the Carroll County Health Department.  Their original posters were framed and presented to them to give to their school for permanent display.
