2018 Flu Vaccination Clinics
Carroll County Health Department (CCHD):
Adults – Flu vaccinations available on a walk-in basis for people who can’t get one in the community. Limited doses available; the cost is $25 and may be covered by insurance, but payment to CCHD is required at the time of the shot.
Children – Public school children can get a flu vaccination (shots only) in schools, including high schools.
The Carroll County Health Department will hold FREE flu vaccine clinics for children 6 months-18 years of age at the Health Department, 290 South Center Street, Westminster on:
Wednesday, November 14, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 28, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The clinics offer quadrivalent vaccines (protecting against four strains of the flu) as both injections and the FluMist nasal spray.

Flu vaccination clinics offered by Finksburg Pharmacy for people age 9 and up. The quadrivalent (four strain) vaccine will be offered. Medicare Part B accepted; if you have a Medicare Advantage Plan, bring your Part D insurance card for possible coverage. BlueCross CareFirst medical billing is accepted. Private insurance is accepted for prescription plans that cover flu vaccination. Uninsured/Not-Covered patients pay $25.00. Payment by cash or check only.
