Cigarette Restitution Fund

The Carroll County Health Department’s Cigarette Restitution Fund Program provides education and resources on all types of tobacco and nicotine products (including electronic cigarettes), second-hand smoke, and preventing and quitting tobacco use.

They also offer free programs and counseling to help you quit using tobacco. The programs provide vouchers for nicotine replacement products such as patches, as well as Chantix. (A doctor’s prescription is required for Chantix).

The Cigarette Restitution Fund can also help businesses and other facilities to go smoke or tobacco-free. For more information, call 410-876-4443 or 410-876-4429.


FREE Walk-In Tobacco Clinics

Want to get started quitting right away?   Two walk-in clinics are scheduled every month for your convenience. Just show up at one of our scheduled times to get started. Free for all Carroll County residents.

First Wednesday of the Month

• Access Carroll
• 10:00−11:30 a.m.
• Located at 10 Distillery Drive

Third Thursday of the Month

• Carroll County Health Department
• 4:00−5:30 p.m.


Quit Together

This free 5-week program offers participants a variety of tools to help them quit using tobacco including behavior modification techniques, acupuncture sessions, and nutrition and fitness education. 

Nicotine replacement patches, nicotine gum and Chantix vouchers are available to all who participate.

Thursdays, September 14-October 12, 2017, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Carroll Hospital, Shauck Auditorium, East Pavilion, 291 Stoner Ave., Westminster
