Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP)
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Early detection usueally provides for better outcomes.

Cervical cancer will affect about 13,000 women in the United States in 2015. It can be detected early with gynecological (GYN) exams and the Pap test.

The Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) helps women who cannot afford screening tests for these cancers. If eligible, you can get free mammograms, Pap tests, GYN exams, and other testing and treatment if needed.
The Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program at the Carroll County Health Department is seeking an enthusiastic individual to perform clerical duties. Please join a team of employees who enjoy providing no cost screening services to eligible community women.
